Reply with quote | #1 | Go West, Green Oakster! and you can connect to the Lakeland Trail, a railtrail that is actually a linear State Park. You can learn more about it and find a map at

and at the friends of lakeland trails web site.

These folks are our inspiration.
The Lakeland Trail runs along the old Michigan Airline Railroad bed, which runs through Green Oak as well. We hope to develop it into a rail trail in Green Oak, thus connecting the Lakeland Trail to our west and the Huron Valley Trail to our east, and filling on of the few remaining gaps in the Airline Trail which will run all the way across lover Michigan from Lake Michigan to Lake Erie!!!
Now that would be awesome to complete.
Got any ideas on how we can complete it?
